Dress Code: No jeans, heavy tennis shoes or clothes that cover your body. Teachers need to see your body line to improve your dance skills. Please wear fitted work out clothes, yoga style pants, athletic tops, tights, leotards are all acceptable. All hair must be pulled away from the face. Dee’s Dance in Milwaukee is a great location for dance wear and offers a 10% discount to our students.
Class Etiquette: Only students and instructors are allowed in the classroom during class time. Parents are welcome to view classes the last 10 minutes of each class. No gum chewing or eating in class. You will be allowed to eat on break, but please remember the Lakewood Center requires we throw all trash away.
School Closures: The L.O. Dance School follows the Lake Oswego School District calendar for all major holiday & vacation closures. Regular classes will be held on school district ‘in-service’ days (usually Mondays). The snow and inclement weather schedule will follow the Lake Oswego School closures.
Make-up Classes: Make-up classes are only available for those who have missed regular class due to illness or injury. Please see Jeanne Fox for class make-up time. Make-ups are non-transferrable and must be made-up within the given term. There are no refunds for missed classes, nor will we pro-rate terms. Make-up classes are the responsibility of the student and not of the L.O. Dance School or their instructors. In the rare case we are forced to cancel a class, the class will be rescheduled for a later date.
Please bring ONLY what is essential for your dance class. Best way to keep it simple? Get one of our L.O. Dance Bags, and label all personal items with permanent marker. L.O. Dance School is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
